Summer is here and i've lost 72 pounds

It's been a long hard 7 months. There was so many times I felt like giving up because of pain from all my illnesses. I would push myself and saying you can do it. I change the way I eat, work out 5 days a week and drink more water than a camel. I lost 72 pounds and have 8 more to go.
In 7 days I will be going to Disney World in FL. This will be my first time in swimwear and shorts, in about 10 years. I'm so happy that I lost the weight.
To everyone that has a weight loss goal. You can do it Good luck!

congratulations. What an accomplishment. I was going to go on a crash diet...the atkins diet. I found after 2 days it would not work with me. So I decided to make small changes in my eating habits. I don't completely deprive myself of sugar but have cut way back on it. I am going to try to eat more fruits for snacks instead of high sugar snacks. And I am just trying to change my diet to something tolerable. LOL. I just don't do well to say "I am on a diet". Yuck. Makes me want to eat more to say that.
I sure would like to lose some weight but it may not come off very fast.

i would get tummy aches and such
i ate yogurt and a sli fast bar for breakfast then at lunch i would have just a no big sald and then for diner it was a slim fast bar again a salad and soup
anyways CONGRATS since my diagnoses and the pain though cant go on treadmill much which upsets me soo i have gained soe back boy does it come back fast if u stop motivating yourself to excercise that is the mainkey to excercise even for 15 min.... a day
then i gained someback which is ok i know i can lose that if i lost all of the other weight keep positive all we all can do it

Congratulations! I'm good at losing weight but not so good at keeping it off. You could get away with wearing a swim suit or shorts any time (or weight) in the theme parks and fit in.

I live in Orlando and please be aware that it is hot here now. Also, hurricane season officially began today so there may be thundershowers every day. They don't last for long at all so don't get discouraged. We just had one a couple of hours ago and it only lasted about 15 minutes. Make sure that you keep yourself well fed and hydrated. Use lots of sunscreen and take advantage of any shade.
Have fun!

Thank you Debra,I could never bring myself to say "DIET" I would tell myself that i'm on a life changing journey. The things that has changed in my life, I have to keep up. It was not easy finding food that I really like with out all the suger and fat, but I found some really great foods that i love. Don't give up the weight will come off. You have to do it one day at a time. I did it and I know you will do it to.

Thank you to everyone for your comments. Yes I am very proud of myself for the weight loss. Because of my illnesses, it was challenging. I had to do things a little different from other, when it came to working out. Because of pain and stiffness. But in the end it all came togather for me. Weight loss is a life long journey. We will not all arrive at the finish line at the same time, but we will all finish in our own time.
