My endo is a well-known one at Sloan Kettering. At my appointment today I told her that switching to NDT had helped a great deal, but I am nowhere near where I was before the surgery, in terms of stamina, energy and endurance. I then asked her, "do any other patients say this?" To my enormous surprise, she said "100% of my patients say that. Including the ones in their 20s. You simply ... Read More

Hi, everyone - My insurance ends December 31st and so I'm losing my current hospital and doctors. I haven't figured out who my new primary care doc will be just yet. I'm going in tomorrow for a whole body scan (one-year post RAI follow up). As I'm trying to make sure I have all my medical records in order for my next doctor, I wonder if I should request a CD of the WBS. Even as I type ... Read More

I have sharp pain in my left upper thigh whenever I bend my knees, squat, etc. my other muscles are all sore but that area is the worst! Is this a complication of meds or how sedentary I've been after surgery? It's bizarre and has been going on for two or three days. I've ... Read More

I feel like I have been "spinning my wheels" for many months, regarding my consistently high PTH. Could there be another reason(s) for a high PTH (when Calcium is not high,) other than a parathyroid adenoma? I have read and reread parathyroid.com. It seems to me, than when Calcium is under 10, one must have a PTH of 100, before the Norman Clinic would consider the possibility that ... Read More
