boron & borax

Bad flare on hands again so I washed my hands in borax and water with great results and started to look into the antiseptic properties of borax and the benefits of Boron supplimentation. Borax (sodium borate) is a good antiseptic. It has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties. Boron helps your body maintain electrolytes, helps to balance harmones and seems to have some anti-aging properties. Boron intake seems to have dropped in Western culture due to higher processed food diet.

Julia, I guess you didn't see my response to that question on another post. We changed the majority of the pipes and the addition that is some day supposed to be the master bedroom and bath has NO copper running to it and I still take baths there. The kitchen is also supposed to get remodeled and finish replacement of ALL copper pipes but now we are talking about moving so my kitchen still has water coming through some copper pipes. That could be part of the reason my hands keep flaring. I'm the dish washer, counter wiper...
