About the Bone Health & Osteoporosis Support Community
The Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) works to ensure that everyone affected by osteoporosis has a place to turn for support. As a result, BHOF and Inspire partnered to create a safe and secure online support community. The Bone Health & Osteoporosis Support Community offers a place to meet others, ask questions and share information about osteoporosis and bone health through the Internet. We hope you'll enjoy the time you spend here.
Please note that information on the Bone Health & Osteoporosis Support Community is not intended to provide medical advice and should NOT be relied upon for any particular diagnosis, treatment or care. Members are encouraged to speak with their healthcare providers for medical and treatment advice. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the community's DOs and DON'Ts, which are clearly outlined under Inspire's Community Guidelines.
The Bone Health & Osteoporosis Support Community is one of multiple online outlets that provide BHOF services to the public. While this community is a place to find support and share information, www.bonehealthandosteoporosis.org remains the primary online source for the latest evidence-based information about bone health and osteoporosis. BHOF continually updates its website with current news, announcements and resources as they become available. Individuals can also contact BHOF to request information by calling: 1 (800) 231-4222.
BHOF is committed to providing a breadth of information and resources ranging from lifestyle behaviors to treatment options to help patients, interested consumers and health professionals throughout the country make informed decisions about bone health and osteoporosis. BHOF relies on evidence-based information before taking any positions or making any recommendations to the public.
