Clinical Trials - An Opportunity to Gain Access to Cutting Edge Medication

Clinical trials provide an opportunity for patients and their caregivers to hold an active role in their own healthcare. These studies provide an affordable way (all medications, doctors visits, and lab work are free of charge, and you may be compensated for your time and travel) to gain access to the latest treatment methods. All participants are treated with expert medical care.

Clinical trials can also provide a break from the monotonous care cycle that many can get stuck in while caring for someone with Alzheimer’s Disease. These studies also offer hope, which is an important sentiment that can easily be lost.

The safety of a participant is the number one priority for each and every study. All trials are strictly regulated by the FDA and all participants are free to leave at any point.

If you are at all interested in a clinical study for you or someone you know, please visit clinicaltrials.gov to find out more about trials in your area. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please submit them as comments below and I would be more than happy to answer them.
