This policy explains how Inspire handles data received from Apple HealthKit when you choose to connect your device to Inspire’s platform. It supplements Inspire’s broader Privacy Policy and applies exclusively to HealthKit data.
1. What We Collect We only collect the Apple HealthKit data you choose to share with us—such as steps, heart rate, sleep, or other health metrics. We do not access or store any HealthKit data without your explicit permission.
2. How We Use Your Data We use your HealthKit data solely to support your health and wellness experience within the Inspire platform. This may include visualizing trends, generating insights, and helping you track your progress. We do not use your HealthKit data for marketing, behavioral profiling, or product recommendations.
3. How We Share Your Data We do not sell, license, or share your HealthKit data with advertisers, analytics providers, or any third parties. HealthKit data remains within Inspire’s protected environment and is never transferred for secondary use.
4. Your Control You have complete control over which HealthKit data types you share and can revoke access at any time:
A. Open the Apple Health app
B. Navigate to Sources > Inspire
C. Toggle off specific data types or remove Inspire as a source entirely
4. Data Security HealthKit data is encrypted both in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols. Access to this data is limited to authorized Inspire personnel and only for the purposes outlined above. We use secure cloud-based storage solutions that comply with applicable data protection laws and best practices.
