I try to take it one day at a time these days. As things ge harder for me to keep up with I just try to do what I can that day and let the rest go. For anyone who ever knew before that is the exact opposite of me. But now I have learned its okay not to get everything done ,nothing bad will happen if all the clothes don't get folded or all the dishes don't get washed. That has been a hard lesson for me to learn, but I've got it now. It still bothers me sometimes when I don't even feel like getting out of bed, but I let myself have ONE of those days too.

Good for you! These are hard lessons to learn but it sounds like you're doing it! Having been a very driven person before my progression, I had to learn the same lessons! But I found that the more I took care of myself, the more I could do the things I truly loved! Each day can be different, and I applaud you for taking ONE day for yourself occasionally. I think of the days I give to me that I sit and read, sort through things, draw or do needlework ... we all need them! Funny how the laundry and dishes tend to wait for us, huh??? haha!

thanks for understanding I hope you are doing well right now. It is always hard for people to take time for themselves. It seems we always think of others before ourselves. God bless for the encouragement.

I too have those days so your not alone for a reply about the head aches Ive found that some times its best to just lie down and try to take a nap. sometimes their so bad you want to cry yourself to sleep but its help me thourgh 12 years of CADASIL. From what I,ve learn the headaches are the onset of the disease, my mother had it & 1sister &brother have CADASIL My family from Irenland & England that were the disease was 1st discovered somewere in europe about 15 or 20 years ago. I would be glad to talk with you with any ? you have if I can. reven27

I would really like to talk to yu some more. No one will tell me what it is going to be like down the line and it is driving me crazy. I have a daughter I have to prepare for. I like to have all my ducks in a row if yu know what I mean. Please write and tell me everything you can think of.
