My 'BWP' will never be forgotten

I am sending a quick post becaouse I have not yet said how much the LCA site gave Pat Hope and others. I remember finding this site while she was in the hospital Jan. 07 and telling her that she should check this out. Today would have been the 2 year anniversary of her diagnoses. As I head out this morning to make arrangements I want you all to know that I will not let you all down and you all will be part of of her story for the orbiturary. I will also fight, support and advocate for Lung Cancer Awareness.
If anyone has a story they wish to share about Pat please send them to me at: tgkitts@yahoo.com

Pat went home to the Lord in the same gracious style that she has served so many people. She will alway be my Bald Warrior Princess and Rock.

Love to all that have supported us in so many ways. I will be keeping close to the cause through this site.

Hope is Eternal!

Thank you for putting Pat in touch with this site. She was an inspiration to everyone here. My prayers are with you and your family! I am imagining the princess with wings that will still be watching over us.

Bless you, Tim. You are a special man and Pat was lucky to have you (and even luckier to know how lucky she was.)

Tim & Family,
I am so sorry for loss. I'm so sorry for our loss. In her 2 years here Pat touched so many of us. I still can't believe she is gone.I read your very first post here
(Nov.25, 2006) -Your love, hope & courage since the beginning of this battle.Strength to you & your family. Betsy

Tim,

From the moment I saw Pat's smiling Chia face I thought she must be someone really special and in fact she was. She was such a blessing here at this place and won't be forgotten.

Thank you for your post, may God bless you and your family.
Toddy

Tim, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Tim,
Love is also eternal. You've been a great husband and friend to your wife. I'm sorry that she did not win her battle. She was very brave. You should save some of her posts so that your children one day know how much courage their Mom had and how hard she battled to survive. Before my sister died of breast cancer at 42, she gave me a tape of myths; I still like to hear her voice....and she died almost 13 years ago. I hold her in my heart, and you will hold the Brave Warrior Princess in your heart.

Tim,

Words can't express how sorry I am that your beautiful wife is gone. She is watching over you and your children now and she will not be forgotten by us here at this site.

Tim:

My name is Rachael and I've only been coming to this site since July when my mom was diagnosed. My mom lost her battle quickly, but I will continue to come and try to help and heal as much as I can. I know how many people on this site loved you and your wife...difficult for me to accept that just one more person has lost the struggle with this terrible affliction. As I sit here with my eight week old daughter in my arms, I know just how big the price can be. You were fortunate to have found each other in this big and often crazy world. Two souls bound by love will never be apart. My dad is alone now too, and I worry about him. He is not by himself in a big house and despite being a few miles away, I know he feels alone sometimes. You both have some in common given that you have lost the loves of your life. We are in Charlotte (my dad and I live three miles apart) but if you ever want someone to speak to, I'm sure he would meet you for coffee or just chat online. Love and Hugs,
Rachael

Tim.
I just sent out a DVD tribute to Pat. I hope it gets there in time, however my brother who put it together is going to download it on his website so if you want o just go there and download it send me a personal message and I'll send you his website address.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you always,
Tina & Gary Bridgham

What a great loss! But I admire your grace and faith as you work through this difficult time.

My prayers and deepest sympathies are with you and your family.

And thank you, so sincerely, for your continued fight against this dreadful disease in Pat's memory and on behalf of all of us.

Tim,
Pat was my first friend when I joined LCA. I was frightened, in pain, and had no one to talk to. She calmed me down, helped me get 'settled', told me I was not being a baby by hurting so much after surgery, in short, she made me feel human again. I will never forget her, and she is in my thoughts and prayers daily. I pray for strength and peace for you and your family. I know you know that Pat is with each and every one of you every minute of every day. Her love is large enough to encompass you and yours, and then even to reach the rest of us whose lives she touched. She is still an extremely special warrior!
