What is Inspire?

Inspire is an online health and wellness community where patients, families, friends and caregivers can connect with others for support.

Inspire was created because:

What are trusted health partners?

Trusted health organizations and healthcare publishers partner with Inspire to offer members a safe place to share practical and emotional support. Our partners include The Children's Inn at NIH, Arthritis Foundation, Lung Cancer Alliance, National Osteoporosis Foundation, National Organization for Rare Disorders, The ALS Association, United Cerebral Palsy, Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research and others. What is an online support community?

Your community is a place of inspiration and support. Your support community lets you learn more about the needs of your members and help share news, services and resources with an active membership.

Your community is a safe place where members and supporters can:

  • Introduce themselves to others ("Profiles")
  • Build a support network ("Friends")
  • Share personal experiences ("Journals")
  • Find practical, emotional support ("Discussions")

How much does it cost?

Inspire provides free support communities to all 501(c)(3) health organizations. Please contact us to discuss pricing if you are a publisher or other for-profit organization.

What support comes with my community?

Inspire builds and maintains your free community:

  • Free customized design and set-up
  • Free moderation and technical support
  • Free outreach and marketing assistance
  • "Hands-free" set-up (no internal technical support needed)

How do I start a community for my organization?

How do you protect member privacy?

Members have complete control over how personal information is shared. We use security similar to that used by banks and online brokers to protect member information.
