Does anyone know if its safe to continue to give and recieve oral sex with a significant other when I have HPV? I am not sure if my guy gave me the HPV or not, and we are using condoms during intercourse, but what about oral sex?

Various other sexually transmitted diseases can be spread by oral sex including herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis. Safer sex techniques should therefore be used for oral sex as well as vaginal and anal sex. My doctor yesterday explained how HPV is spread skin to skin - a guy does not just have HPV on the tip or the area a condom covers - there is a lot exposed that touches your skin during sex and can still pass HPV.... just how it was explained to me:)
