Will this journey never end?

I sometime get so tired of fighting this battle. I consider myself very strong and always up for a challenge but this is getting ridicules. Don’t get me wrong I am grateful to still be here, as the medical community didn’t think I would be, BUT man this is tiring.

Cancer, Cancer go away
I am tired and I don’t want to play

This battle I don’t want to fight
Please just let me sleep tonight

No more worrying about what my family will do
No more wondering if these thoughts are true

I won’t give up you can’t win
So please just let me be again

I have fought and won worst beast than you
And I will win this battle too

well said! have hope and keep up the fight!

We all have good days and bad but we must never give up the fight so our children and grandchildren don't have to fight this devastating disease. So keep on fighting and we will win this battle. I loved your poem.

Love your poem!!!!

Have hope, don't quit, keep the faith!
But seriously, I am refusing to accept the expiration date the docs want to give me and I am living on the best that I can, filled with hope and dreams. "Wish it. Dream it. Do it!" ~Alice Kitselman Rivera

Thak you for that poem...this s one of those days for me~ I'm just tired, tired of talking about it, tired of taking the meds, tired of playing phone tag with dr.'s offices who say they are doing something and yet it takes two weeks and on and on. It makes me feel better to know someone else is having these kinds of days too. Keep fighting and you will be in my prayers.

Love your poem. Just keep on thinking positive, forget the negative
that is all we can do, and pray a little
will help. I hear it takes a year to
get the ol get up and go again, I am
looking forward to that.
Keep the poems up they seem to
help others, I know it did me.
