take a look at this website:

There is also:

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance provides a website that directs patients, caregivers, and doctors to more than 275 public and private patient assistance programs, including more than 150 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies. The website features an application wizard that helps you determine which programs might be available to you.

Also WALMART and COST CO (does not have it on their site but you go in and ask for it to see if your drug is covered) now have the $4 Prescription program:

Hope that helps!!!

thanks for your help MamaG. I do the wal mart for a few drugs. That's the only thing that helped me at least be on my bp and thyroid meds. At one point i couldn't even afford them.

Mama,

I am very familiar with drug assistance programs. Good idea to post this. My mom got free meds for 11 of 16 scripts through the manufacturers. This is a great option for anyone who does not have insurance or adequate income. I have another site that does the same thing, but it just shows which drugs/ drug companies offer assistance...which most do. I will post it soon, but it is on my other computer.

Cool, if anyone has one for the Lipitor let me know. I still have to take the freaking drug even if it kills my muscles. I will be a weakling with no muscle mass but low cholesterol!! lol!!
