Hi,its been awhile since I`ve been on.Mom just got cat scan back and is not good .It shows spots on her liver .She is very weak and filling up with fluid ,she says her legs feel like they have weights in them . She goes for an mri on friday, then dr. on wednesday for results. She is not gonna do anymore chemo ,I dont think she is srtong enough to go through anymore treatments anyhow. We all stand by her decision to not do anymore. Well i just got called back to work on top of everything ,so i must go get ready. Thanks to all of you for your support and for being here ,I will continue to pray for everyone. I dont know when I`ll be back on again. Thanks again,God Bless .

Lorie, I am thinking of you. I just lost my mom today and will be praying that your mom can pull through this setback.

Big hugs,

Pam

Hi Lorie, Hang in there. I know it is hard but we can make it! We have to be strong for them. I'm always here to talk. God Bless, Lucy

Oh Lori, I'm so sorry to hear this news. My dad passed away with pancreatic cancer Jul of 06 and towards the end, he too filled up with fluid. His legs got so heavy that he could not move them on his own. We would lift them and bend them up towars his body and he said that it felt so good. There was nothing left for us to do except to make him comfortable. The 4 daughters and mom stood guard around his bed. He only had to lift a finger and someone was there to wait on him. We turned him every few hours, propped pillows all around him, rubbed lotion on him, powered him.... He was loved. It was so hard to let him go, but he was in so much pain at the end. You and your mom are in our prayers.

You and your mom are in my prayers.
