After Salvage chemo round 2

0 Recommendations

We have round 2 of salvage chemo done and the side affects were crazy like before. This IEVG therapy is tough or at least it has been on me. It brought my blood counts down too low so I had to get 2 units of blood on Friday. We tested blood counts yesterday and they are slowly coming up and I am finally feeling better. I go back to M D Anderson in Houston next week to begin testing again. We are praying I'm in remission so I can begin the steps for my autologous stem cell transplant.
Blessings to you all,
Joy

Hi Celeste,
I'm doing IGEV Chemo for relapsed Hodgkins. The drugs are Ifex, Gemzar, Vinorelbine, and Corticosteroids. I'm seeing the lymphoma department at M D Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. It is an awesome place.
