I read an article today that shows a dramatic connection between what we eat and how we feel.

230 young offenders at a maximum security prison in England were enrolled in a nutrition study. Half were given vitamins, the other half placebos. They recorded the number and type of offenses committed during the six months before the study began, and during the six months during the study. The vitamin group committed 25% fewer offenses within the study period.

If vitamins could change the attitudes of these serious offenders, think how it might change your own mood? Or how students might feel toward their studies in school?

The study has been extended to see if the findings can be applied to the general public.

By the way, I still have a few free viewings of the full-length film FOOD MATTERS to give away. Just write to me at director@vhl.org and tell me about your interest in nutrition, and I'll send you one -- while supplies last!

It's a code to use to view this video online. You can round up as many friends as you wish to view the film with you.

All the best,
Joyce
