spondylitis

I have this condition in my spine and I am having similiar problems. I am talking DLPA a natural amino acid for pain and it takes the edge off. Massage helps a little, acupunture helps some but is not a long term cure. Water aerobics helps as much as anything but it allows movement without stress on the body. Movement is important of the joints will fuse. Important to stay away from stress but the pain causes a lot of stress

I have it in my neck. Have you had the injections? Have you tried a Rhizotomy?

I can't help but be amazed at reading so much on this site and learning that most people who have arthritic pains just follow whatever their doctors say. Yours is plain and simple arthritis which is curable by natural medicines and in some instances wherein I had those pains that seemed to be so deep inside the bones which could not be helped by reflex massage, I take them. They are the safest cures we could avail of with no side effects that would damage other organs in the long run.
Well, your beliefs, I think, are only with your doctors which had only made your life miserable. I changed that attitude when I realized I could do something for my own good, and I never regretted my decision ever since.

Gadz;

I think things depend on the severity of the arthritis. If you just have a lttle, I think other remedies might help but if it is severe as mine is,...well that is a different story....
Dee

Dee, you are right. My mother is about to have surgery on her spine due to the severity of the pain. By taking meds it is just treating the symptoms but not getting to the root of the issue.

My brother was also diagnosed. I have Sarc but have had issues myself as I have Degenerative Bone Disease as well. Our's is hereditary and I have started my kids on preventative measures as they have already started complaining of knee pains and they are only 16 and 19. Better to treat them now than have them suffer later.
