July 1st, Hassan decided to extrubate himself once again. This time the NICU decided to try Si-pap. So far...ITS GOING GOOD!! He's doing so well, Im so pround of him. He seems so much more comfortable now too! He's 3 lb 9 oz and last night I got to help with washing him up :) (they always use to do it at 2AM). Im back at work now, however, I work in the hospital Hassan is at so I go and see him on breaks, before and after work also. I also got to see his face for the first time last night with no attachments on! He's such a cutie, he's really living up the meaning of his name... handsome. I recently bought the book, "Oh, the places you'll go" by Dr. Suess. I read it to him at least twice a day. He's such an extrodinary person already, as is, any preemie. They fight hard for life, they tackle many obstacles that even some adults cannot acomplish and endure pain almost everyday. Thats all they know how to do is fight for life, so, with that already instilled in him, in his lifetime, I know he will move mountains!
