Well, its been 19 days since I've had the ICD. It is so amazing to me that I feel so good. The best I have felt in 3 years. Yesterday I walked 5 miles and did not feel out-of-breath once! I feel like a new woman (even my attitude is better) I don't have the knee jerk reaction of, "I can't do that so why bother?" I have 3 years of living to make up for! Thanks for the support I get here from all of you.

great to hear i have had mine since 04/08 feel better but have my days more and more i am hearing of more and more people getting an icd....remeber to take it easy to your bosy needs it

Harmony, that is great news! I've had my ICD for three months now, however, mine was put in as a precautionary measure due to Vtach, so I haven't noticed any changes, which is good, because I was doing fine already!
It's just good to know that when they are implanted to improve function, and not just to monitor rhythms, that they actually help!

What great news that is! I'm having one implanted July 22! Soon!! I hope I feel as good! I'm so tired of feeling tired!
