I had my surgical follow-up today, and I'm feeling guardedly optimistic. My doctor explained that the abnormal cells were not detected around the edges of what was removed during the LEEP, but have maybe spread to the glands. I have to do Paps every 4 months, along with ECC's...as long as I have 3 clear Paps in a row, I'm good to go. At this point, I'm going to take that as progress.
In addition, she gave me the green light to start back on the infertility path. She suggested we wait a month or so and then start trying again. That was surprising news!
