Amiodarone-A Rough Beginning!

I must say that beginning the Amiodarone med was a pretty rough ride. I don't know if it was the first weeks "loading" dose, which is double of what the regular dose is but whew, what a rough week that was. After 2 days of beginning the med, along with a slight Coreg increase, I was not feeling my usual best. My head felt dizzy, I had constant headaches and felt very tired and lethargic most of the time. I kept telling myself that this will get better and for me to give my body enough time to adjust to this totally new outsider of new meds invading it. Thankfully after about a week and a half on the new drugs, I began to feel so much better. I am now going into my third week of the new meds and I can happily say that my body now feels fine. Today, for the first time, I walked a very brisk 3 miles for exercise and haven't felt this good during a walk in quite some time!
