A Few Issues - Nearly 6 Weeks Post CABG3X

In the grand scheme of post CABG healing, I think I'm still registering in the "normal" range. I have aches and pains, need to protect my chest and have residual bruising/numbness in my right leg. I am still not smoking (and, more importantly, not wanting to), am eating pretty darn good, am losing weight and even exercising pretty regular (it is very hard on me for some reason, but I do it more often than I don't). I see some kind of doctor - GP, Heart Surgeon, Heart Doctor every week and I see a RN or LVN every day.

I have some incision issues that just now seem to be improving after 2 rounds of antibiotics and a shift to wound packing with Mesalt daily (hence the daily RN/LVN visits).

However, over the last few days I have been experiencing some new, intermittent, short, sharp pains in bottom rib cage area under my right breast (3-5); and, pain across entire bottom of ribcage (basically, right where my bra rests, bottom, front) with any kind of movement at all (also 3-5). I am also now having trouble forcing a deep breath, not to be confused with breathing or sob, which is not a problem... but rather, if I want to take a great big, deep breath I have to really concentrate to do it and be willing to be in a bit of pain (5 +/-).

Doctors and Nurses seem to agree that all is caused by nerves waking up and reigniting, coupled with increased activity. I'm still nervous about what might be going wrong.

Do others have experiences to share?
