10 years of life

today is 10 years of having a massive heart attack at the age of 32
family history and smoking were my factors
women need to edcuate themselves in warning signs and symptons of heart attack for women
as heart disease is the #1 killer in women
1 out of 3 women will die of heart disease
more and more women are coming to see the warning signs and so many are young its not a mans disease and its not age disease as i have seen young , old with this deadly disease
on oct 22 will mark 10 years of open heart surgery they gave me two years to live guess i proved them wrong.....on april 08 i recieved an icd (implantable cardioverter defibrillator)
to help prevent sudden cardiac death we named it trigger my life is my family and i live life to the fullest i control this disease it will not control me.......
i am part of a great community of women on womenheart.org that live with this disease we all help and encourage each other
i used to hate this month i used to look at it as my family could be mourning my death but thats not the case instead its and anniversary of LIFE for me
with the love and support of my family of the god lord i will have many more years to come with my family who are my LIFE........
