Hello all...sorry if this sounds silly but, for those of you on Verapamil (or any calcium channel blocker), do you take it right before you go to bed? I am on 200mg at night and I have been taking it at about 8:30pm with my nighttime dose of my beta blocker, but my husband noticed it said to take at bedtime. I don't usually go to bed until midnight. My symptoms have been kicking in horribly in the early evening hours and we are wondering if maybe I should wait for bedtime to take it. My cardiologist is no help....he only talks to me once a year to update my meds because I am uninsured and he says his hands are tied on treatments for me. He just keeps wanting to ram my meds up more every time I talk to him which I am really sick of doing. I hate to even tell him the symptoms are worse because he wants to push my Verapamil to 300mg and I already said no. That's why I wondered when the rest of you take your CCB. Maybe a later dose would last longer the next day...
Thank's!
Carolyn
