Weird Dreams

0 Recommendations

Let me see...I take Plavix, Simvastatin, Toprol and Diovan for my heart. I've been having the weirdest dreams. Does anyone know if any of those medicines can cause weird dreams???? I'm going through a lot of changes right now....in my thoughts...my future. I'm 53 and just finished a book called..."50 is the New 50". It's a great book. Talks about a lot of things I'm going through even though some a related to my heart.

I can relate Lynne. I ask the same questions. I'm on Lipitor, Cozaar, Metoprolol, Plavix, Spironolactone and Lorazapam. I also added CoQ10 and a shot of Flax seed oil. I hadn't hardly dreamed in years, and now it's fairly often, and strange.

I suspect the meds could contribute to it, but I also think facing large issues like mortality can stir the pot and kick up plenty of subconscious bones that might normally lie dormant.

I'm not sure a doctor would know either. I know my doctor just wants me to keep taking everything, because "data shows" people live longer/have less hospitalizations when they take all the meds.

I know I feel strange when I'm awake, so it would be logical to assume some strangeness would also occur during sleep. I think I've just taken the long way around to say...I don't know.

Once again though, I'm glad I'm not alone.

My research discovered that this is one of the Toprol side effects. I have had VERY strange dreams and continue to have them even though I am now down to just 12.5 mg of Toprol!

The only thing I have in common is the toprol. Oh yes my dreams are so strange, but I'm starting to enjoy them. lol
I was wondering why I have these odd dreams!
