Great news Dawn!

It's always good to know when somebody overcomes a system designed to be almost impossible to negotiate and wins what is rightfully theirs to begin with. Well done, you must be over the moon!

What a wonderful way to start our day - I know there are lots of your heart sisters smiling for you and with you. The system stinks that takes so much effort and energy to negotiate what you should get without the trouble.

Thank you all for your kind words. I was down today for awhile because I worked myself in to a tiz yesterday before the hearing but I recovered fairly quickly. Again thanks.

Dawn - I'm so happy for you! I know how stressful worrying about money can be, and when you have a health issue on top of it, some days it's overwhelming! I'm so happy some of that burden is lifted for you!

Hey... Isnt it crazy that you work all those years for that benefit and they make it so difficult to get !!. Congradulations on beating the system and winning.
It must feel awsome to sleep at night and not have that worry.

Dawn, I am so happy to hear your great news. It will take some of the stress out of your life and make the quality of life better. I know that having heart disease becomes an expensive proposition. Having all the co-pays, medicines, etc. gets to to be overwhelming. I know that in addition to having the heart related issues worrying about finances just adds to your troubles. Dawn, a lady I met on another forum recently received her SS also. Took over 5 years. With her back pay of almost 5 years, she is moving out of the northwest and going to the southeast to be near family. She is a single woman as her hubby left her almost 4 years ago. As soon as she gets there she is buying a small car. She has not had a car for three years as she could not afford it. We are all so happy for her and I am so happy for you.
