This was a good and bad visit. I read the result from my CT scat and it showed that everything clear and I have the arteries of a 10 year old kid. It showed that my EF is 38 (they called me about earlier), and my heart was extrememly enlarged. So, Dr. Wani now has me to increasing my lisinipril from 2.5 to 10 mg per day. I'm just now adjusting to the coreg and now this! To top it off, I had tmy GP appt yesterday who now has me on 1 mg of xanax 3x per day to get my anxiety under control. I will be on this for a month and get reevauated to see if I need to be on a baseline med (I have no idea what this is). On my way out, the stinking nurse chased me down with needle in one hand! I had to have the flu shot!! I told them that about 7 years ago, I had my first flu shot and ended up in the hospital but they gave it to me anyhow. Now I feel like the achiest, ditziess person around;P This too shall pass, I know.

Anxiety Chemotherapy Lisinipril Coreg Xanax Cardiomyopathy

Gee that's great the arteries of a ten year old. The other, however, is not good news. My heart muscle was greatly destroyed during chemotherapy from years ago. You are bordering on that borderline of an ICD or not. I stayed in that same position for about a year and then the EF went down and there was no question ICD/Pacemaker it was.

I take 30 mgs of lisinipril a day. I don't take coreg, but i do take Xanax 1 MG only at bedtime or I'd be knocked out all day. It makes me sleep------------

My Heart is enlarge and they say it is Stable right now from last year. I have other issue with my heart and I'm worried I'm going to have a MI. I had a blood test call hs-CRP and the first one was 22.45 and two weeks later it was 33.48 three tomes higher the limit. They say that's not good.

It stinks getting up to the full dosage but after a while you'll hopefully get past it. I think it's pretty standard to have both the ace inhibitor and beta blocker for cardiomyopathy. Are you having any vtach too or just the size? From my experience they take that into consideration if they were talking about an ICD too (not to freak you out)!
