Hello all,
I had to get on here today to tell you this. Quick overview first:
6-7 months ago I started having terrible chest pains with multiple PVC's. Was in the ER several times. They insisted that there was nothing wrong and it's all "normal". After extreme testing (ecg's, stress echo, blood tests, heart cath) it all came back with the same result, "normal". Well, I'm here to tell you, it sure doesn't feel normal when you can't get your heart back on rhythm.
Fast forward to now:
I went to the Dr due to terrible migraines. I had one that lasted 3 days. I get in the room and this time it was a good visit. I told him that my jaw was still hurting and asked if he would check my ears. He did, and they were clear. He then procedes to do the normal routine checking. He found that I have TMJ. My dang jaw is popping, he told me to get a mouth piece to sleep with. He perscribed me a daily dose of Verapimil (for the migraines). OMG...since I've been taking that my headaches are gone and so are the PVC's. I feel wonderful...sleepy all the time, but wonderful. My kiddos are back on baseball schedule...busy everynight. Now, I don't know if the meds made me feel better or being back at the ball field made me better. But I really hope it's the meds because baseball only lasts 8 weeks.
Finally, I am almost all the way back to "ME". It's crazy though because I have more then one problem and I was thinking that all of these problems was one concern. But turns out that my jaw hurts because of TMJ, my chest hurt because of PVC's, my back hurt because I sit at a desk all day long and I have to be busy for all of this to not bother me.
Thanks to all for listening,
Michele
