On a drive the other day I noticed this sign in front of a local church ... normally my memory is horrible and I don't remember things like this, but I really liked this message and want to share it with you because it can be interpreted in so many ways.

"THE BRAIN MAY FORGET
BUT THE HEART ALWAYS REMEMBERS."

Thanks to all of you for touching my heart in so many ways!

And thank-you for touching so many of ours!! What a place this is... It amazes me how we stay on track, and how this website continues to work for so many. I would truely love to start a project where every person who is admitted to the hospital for heart related problem was given this web site. Thanks to all who read this... You are truely friends and I appreciate each and every unique one of you. Thanks for the advice and tough times you have helped me through. I am truely blessed to have found you. Diane

Diane,
You hear stories about the kindness of strangers - here at womenheart we all live it.

Like you I am thankful to have found this site.

My best,
Laura

Laura,
When reading Dr. Mimi Guarneri's book(The Heart SPeaks), she said the heart has its own brain. It thinks on its own apart from our real brain. A real good read, if you haven't done so already.

Big hugs and love to you,
Kathi

I have read the book and agree with her - There is so much knowledge in my heart.

I wish her practice was here in Ohio, not that I don't like my own cardio. I loaned my copy to my massage therapist - I'm anxious to get it back to reread.

have a good day,
Laura

I have investigated a cardio in Toledo. I won't be going to him since he can't be my regular cardio ......because of the distance from Pittsburgh.... Dr. James Roberts. He is author and doing some great things in the area of cardiology. Have you heard of him?

I tried to find cardios that followed her ideas, but weren't happy with their suggestions. ( They don't follow her ideas afterall) I am going to try a cardio on the border of WVa and PA. when it comes time for my follow-up. He can be my regular cardio.

I like what you said......" There is so much knowledge in my heart" That is beautiful.

Hugs,
Kathi

I think you would be hard pressed to find another one just like her... it is such a radically different way of looking at patients.

Be well,
Laura
