Steroids After Surgery-Tons of pvc's. ???

Hi. So happy to find this site. Have had all the tests and caths etc. PVC's. benign. Go home relax. Over the past few years they are so much more increased. Now it's daily. Had back surgery Monday the 8th. Was taking the steroid pack and my heart was sooooo noisy. My nerves are shot. Could steroids make them act up? Thanks. Anybody here from the Phila/SJ area?

I don't know if it will help you or not but my cardiologist told me that steroids definitely cause PVCs and many other side effects! An emergency room physician and my family physician both told me NO they do not cause palpitations...I believe my cardiologist!

I believe your cardiologist too, after my cabg in August I had a bad sinus infection, of which the sinus cocktail shot they usually give me had stetoids. Cardiologist said no.

I took steroids for my asthma before my HA, my cardiologist said no steroids of any type from that point on.
