Dear Maryjo...I have micro vascular disease, and I haven't had that particular problem...unless I stand up quickly, but I have shortness of breath, dizzyness, and lots of pain that is all much better on my nitro patch. Are you on nitro at all? It is a definite help for me.

Hi Maryjo
I was at a dinner party when I had very similar symptoms to you. My voice was slurred and my balance was affected. Everyone there thought I had too much to drink, but I knew I hadn't. I was very well aware that I was slurring and talking rubbish, and was trying desperately to make myself understood. Everyone was either giggling or humouring me. Later that evening, I collapsed and was taken to hospital. They thought I had been having some sort of transient ischaemic attack. I recovered very quickly after being given GTN.
That was over a year ago, Since then, I have had stents, a heart attack and a bypass.
No one can explain those initial symptoms, but I am thinking there may have been some re-routing of oxygen from my brain to my heart?? It makes sense to me.
I hope you get it sorted out.
