New to Inspire Discussions

Hello All:
I think I posted inappropriately earlier, so I am asking what is the best way to go about using this site? When & how is it best to post? It looks like there are many established groups of friends. What suggestions do you have on how to select friends and join into discussions? I'm new here and just beginning to realize I do have heart problems. I'm looking for others who have the time & patience to listen to me and also share their stories with me so I can listen to them. Any advice would be appreciated -hoping to get the most of out belonging here with a minimum of annoying others.

Hi Rody!

Just feel free to jump in anywhere you like or start a post on any subject, don't worry about annoying anyone, most of us have done our fair share of that! It's great here, an interesting bunch of very different women, different ages different backgrounds and often very different opinions but we have one thing in common which bonds us all.
Welcome, and don't hold back, none of us do!

Thanks, Grace -I guess I'll fit right in then -gotta go get food ready for cook out at my place, will surely bbl!

Rody,

There's no one wayt to get in here. We all just sort of post where ever we feel the need to post and then the rest of the ladies join in. There's always plenty of us here to listen to whatever you want to share.

So just start typing in any one of the discussion boards and then we'll do the rest. Welcome to our humble little gathering where the best women on earth lift you up and hold your hand. Through thick and thin , we all are here for one another.

So come on in and share with us, we're here, we're waiting, just for you.
With heart hugs,
CJ

Rody - welcome! I second what the others have said. You post anything you need, a question, a rant, and we're here. There are always people to respond, sometimes when we don't have an answer to something specific we don't, but we're trying to at least respond there with some encouragement.

In the beginning it's normal to feel like you have so much to say and ask. Later, you'll lend that same support you've recieved to others. Nothing is off limits in terms of what you need to put out there, and I promise, there's someone here who has gone before you and will do whatever she can to encourage you along your path! It's so important for you to know that you're not alone at a time that can be so scary and alienating. We're here for you any time!
Hugs,
K

Hi Rody,

As the others have said welcome. As you will see we all have our stories and we share them with each other hoping someone else shares the same problem or has suggestions to help us. We will be looking for your story when you feel comfortable to share it with us.

No one will judge you, only support you.

Warm regards,

Rose

Rody, you are absolutely not annoying anyone. This is where you should be expressing yourself. I did respond to your post regarding my weight rant...but sometimes we bundle up several response to the discussions into one post and do not send them directly to everyone because it is not possible to do that here. I did not know that for a long time and missed some responses that were sent my way. So sometimes you have to go back to posts you replied to and there may be a response bundled up with a whole lot of others. Does that make sense?

Also you can post your own journal and discussion questions as you did here and as you see...its kind of like fishing. Sometimes things resonate with people and there is an onslaught of responses. Other times your question you might pose may be answered by just a few because they understand better than the rest of us. You just never know but just know that you are now a valued member of this site. So keep posting
and jumping into discussions. Ruth

Rody ......hello.

If you have another name please feel free to post it.
Sometimes that helps .

Hugs,
Kathi
