It's a bit misleading in that he's talking about alternatives for treating high blood pressure, the implication being that if you keep your blood pressure low and your heart in as good a shape as possible, you can possibly avoid diminished heart function and heart failure. He's not saying these alternative treatments substitute for Ace Inhibitors. (And I take some of his formulas myself but I think one has to strike a balance)

Not here to argue or debate just posting what Dr Sinatra put on his website. I am not trying to interpret what he meant or did not mean to say :))
