More dreams...

My dreams have been so freaky - I had to write. I haven't had a dream in 6 years that I can remember, until now... I dream every single night, light naps or after alarm slumbers...

Not the nightmares that you would expect from meds... I am getting dreams with:

1) uncomfortable situations
2) reoccuring dreams I had when I was a child
3) people who have passed
4) ex-boyfriend dreams (had this one last night and it was odd, great and weird in a comforting sort of way) Good GOD!!!! Don't tell my husband!!!!

Is anyone getting these sort of dreams? I find it so interesting!!! I have to say, it is great seeing the family members who are now gone....

Hugs,
Judi

Not sure what meds you are on, but ever since I've been on Paxil, I have some really weird dreams, too. Sometimes my husband wakes me up because I'm crying, or kicking, or something. Are you on any type of drug like Paxil - anxiety drug.

Sweet dreams,
Monika

Hi Monika!

Thank you! I'll tell you, just an odd thing to go through - so many things coming up through the dreams - many old feelings, etc... it is good and bad LOL Last nights dream threw me for a loop - truly.

I am not on any drug like Paxil - although I know I needed something as such the first month or so - I am feeling much better now and have been working hard, I reduced my body fat 5% in 6 weeks. I feel much better mentally (being in rehab is a huge factor).... So, let's see - I am on: Crestor/Toprol/Plavix/Methimazole (thyroid)/Nexium

Hello Judi,

I don't know if my meds are causing my dreams to be stranger than fiction, since I have always had very weird dreams anyway. Right after my 2nd heart attack my dreams got even stranger, if that's possible. Today I have crazy , strange, scarry and sad dreams all the time.

Maybe I'm just nutty as a fruitcake, even so........ makes for interesting sleep time. For myself I think that I just have an over active imagination, since I spend alot of time writing anyway. I know one thing for sure, there have been times that I was having really nice dreams and I was sorry to wake up and find out it was fake. Heck, what's an aging chick to do ?

Guess I flew over the coo coo's nest and stayed in flight. (lol). Have a great week.

Oh Yes, I've have the boyfriend dreams. It seems as if I'm recycling all my old boyfriends in a totally romantic, non-sexual, way. I don't want these dreams to end anytime soon. I find them amusing and relaxing. Just go with it, girl, and enjoy.

The dreams of people who have passed are o.k. too. Again, they are a bit comforting, like the folks are dropping by for a visit.

It's the Topolol or one of it's like kind drugs. I didn't have these dreams with the statin or BP meds that I started last June. This all started with the Topolol(sp) that I went on in October. I read the insert the pharmacy gives out with the drugs and this is one of the side effects, "strange dreams".

I wanted to add... I have been off toprol XL for several months and I have not had a dream since then... Wow - so interesting to real my post...
