Little behind here (about work)

but here I go.

I started back to work last Wed. as many of you know. I've only done 3 shifts and only 8 hour shifts at that. They are normally 12 hours. So far so good, but they have been fairly slow days for Labor & Delivery. I'm sure it will pick up, but easing into it nicely rather than with a bang is nice.
Everyone has been wonderful there. They are looking out for me also. I became really mad last night at one of the employees (she's always making someone mad) and even in the stress, no CP. So I guess I can handle some stress.
I think next week I'll get back into doing the twelves. I need the paycheck. Besides, with my EF back up I feel really good.
Thanks for asking everyone,
(((((hugs)))))

That's good news, Tina. Stay cool. Calm. Collected. (SURRRRRE. That's easy to do in a hospital, isn't it? LOL) It IS a good thing to ease into your work somewhat gradually, I would think. That was a blessing that it has been slow in the L&D floor. What's up with THAT? LOL

Keep up the good work!!! We wish you well!

Great news Tina! You know, for many people, working "only" 8-hour shifts would still sound like a long working day for one just coming back to work! I'm planning (sort of) to go back to work by the end of this month, half days only (what they call a graduated return to work 'trial'). Will you be working nights as well or straight days? Our nurses in the hospital where I work do two days, two nights, then four off. It's that transition day between days and nights that is the killer for many nurses - many healthy nurses who don't have heart disease! So be careful out there.....

XOXOXO
