Dory
WOW thanks! I'm going to have to discuss this with my doc!

Dear Dory,
I take it and I feel pretty dang good. My EF went from 54 to 62.
However, I do not suffer from angina. I will be very interested in hearing if it relieves your angina symptoms.
May the Blessings Be!

Dear Patyblue,
Don't know if your doctor will have a clue. But you might want to talk to your pharmacist and/or someone at a health food store. Do a little more research on your own.
May the Blessings Be!

I have mentioned Dr. Sinatra on this site before. The awesome foursome for the heart are:
1. acetyl l carnitine
2. magnesium
3. D-Ribose
4. coQ10
He has REVERSED heart disease with these supplements and in one case there was no need for a heart transplant.

Sherri,
Thanks for this article on L-Carnitine. I had read on it last winter and decided to give it a try. I was using it before I would hit the treadmill. It seemed my exercise regimen was easier and I could last longer. I wasn't sure if it was my imagination or for real. I wasn't sure how much a day to take so I was using 1000MG about an hour or two before exercise. Now I know how much I really need and it's not my imagination. Thanks.
I have also been doing some reading on L-Arganine. So far what I understand it helps smooth the vessels in the body. I have also started this one a few months back. But I can't seem to find out what the recommend daily amount is supposed to be. If any of you know please share the information. I need all the heart health tips I can get. I am going to keep looking on the computer but if someone already knows please share the info.
Thanks,
Annie B
Yep--L-Arginine.
Will put up next. Keep and eye out.
Sherrie
Sherrie, I hope people read this information and listen. I am home now and this is exactly what Dr. Sinatra is saying in his book. "The Sinatra Solution"
He mentions double -blind, placebo controlled studies. Thanks for putting this on here.
Hugs,
Kathi

"Recall Notice: Health Canada issues foreign product alerts"
Tuesday, August 19, 2008 | 02:54 PM ET
Health Canada is advising consumers not to use nine foreign products because of concerns about possible side effects.
The products are not authorized for sale in the country and have not been found in the Canadian marketplace, the health regulator said in an alert Monday.
However, it's possible the products could be purchased by Canadians travelling abroad or that they have been brought into the country through online purchases.
Canadians who have these products are advised not to use them and should consult a health care professional if they have concerns about their health relating to their use, Health Canada said.
The foreign products include Soloslim which contains the prescription drug L-carnitine which is not authorized for sale in Canada. L-carnitine is used in the treatment of carnitine deficiency.
These drugs should only be used under the supervision of a health care professional."
You might well ask why L-carnitine is under a goverment ban in Canada except for deficiency disorders?
