0 Recommendations

I haven't forgotten that I am supposed to write an essay for June regarding the theme Parents and Children as it relates to my heart disease.

I have it almost finished. And I will probably post it on Wednesday.

I just wanted you to know that I haven't forgotten!!! LOL

Hey, better late than never.......LOL

Stay tuned.

Great Dana,

I was too busy to take on the May theme: Health & Beauty (by Dee Marie) You are definitely a hands on mom... Looking forward to your perspectives.

May - Health & Beauty , MoonFairie13 (Dee
Marie)...thanks DM, I'm a wash my hair and apply lip gloss on way out the door kinda gal. I need your help : ) It is so tiring to lift arms above head after heart attacks.

June: Parents & Children..Dana (thank you!)

July: Freedom...Heartbroken (& son !!)

August - Appreciation, Kareno (thanks so much!)

September - Work...Kenna

October - Laughter...carmelbabe (thanks!!)

November - Hospitality....still open

December - Personal Beliefs - Sherrie (thanks HRAM Sis!)

A big thanks for everyone who has chosen to host a theme. All it requires is posting your thoughts, reflections, tips and coping strategies you have learned and would like to share.... My suggestion is that you post it as a 'new discussion' with your topic headline at the start of the month your topic is slated to appear. These topics are meant to address how to live these aspects of our lives now that heart issues are here to stay.

And we can always come up with other themes....These are just starter ideas. Feel free to suggest one that appeals to you. The Weekly Throwdown is innovative and fun, like Laura (Lulu) and Ruth (spuds) who created it. For those times we are not able to make physical changes, we always have these other aspects of life to work on, think about, help other people with.
