I am medicated for mild heart pressure attacks and now also taking medication called stamlo 5 mg daily for high blood pressure -- 150/80. My right ankle and leg are swollen so much from stamlo and I wondered if there is an alternate medical treatment that doesn't cause nausea which other pills I took before did.

I am sorry you have not had any replies yet.....it is probably because most people here don't know what stamlo is, the name you are using is what it is called in India. In North America it is called norvasc. There are probably other people here who take it under that name. Norvasc (stamlo) is a calcium channel blocker. It is one kind of drug to treat high blood pressure. Other types are ace inhibitors, such as ramipril, and diuretics. If you are not having good success with a calcium channel blocker you should tell your doctor you would like to try something else. I take an ace inhibitor called ramipril. My mom takes a diuretic. So there are lots of other options, but they would be called different names in India. I don't have any difficulty with ramipril. I wish you the best.
