I was reading Heart Healthy Magazine and came across an article about Larry King. This is something I wanted to share with all of you. Some of us may need help in the future with healthcare costs etc. So until the US gets in right with health care here are a few agencies. There are a few places to turn to if you are without health insurance or insurance won't pay.
The Larry King Cardiac Goundation. For finacnial help with a heart procedure or to make a donation go to lkcf.org or call 866/302-5523
The Robet Wood Johnson Foundation offers as state by state guide to finding health insurance including options for people with serious medical conditions. To find what's available in your state go to covertheuninsured.org or call 877/655-2889
There are about 200 helath care facilities nationwide who provide some services for free or reduced cost un the the Hill Burton Act. To search for a Hill-Burton Facility go to hrsa.gov/hillburton or call 800/638-0742
For Medication Help fo to Partnership for Prescription Assistance at pparx.org or call 888/477-2669
