Shellelynn,
I live down state from you here in Michigan. About 40 miles North of Detroit. If you are going to U of M you will be in good hands. When my son was diagnosed with heart failure we were waiting to be transferred there. They did not have a bed at the the time and he was doing so poorly we could not wait. We ended up at Children's Hospital of Detroit. He needed to be somewhere that did transplants. Being an adult, you will be in the right place. Another poster on this board I believe is familiar with them.( Eckensbeam...I think?) I am an ICU nurse and we transfer patients there a lot. Best of luck to you!

Thank you Lisa.....I just hate to travel so far, I'm in Marquette, and have an appt. with a crap cardiologist. We have enough of those up here!
Have you heard of Anna Booher? She is the one I am set up with. Thanks Again....Shelleylynn
Shelleylynn,
Yes, you will be making quite the trip down state. I do not know any of the cardiologists at U of M except for those recommended to me for my son. They are heart failure specialists and I don't think that is what you need.
I believe any of them are top notch for such a progressive facility and it will be worth your trip down. She is listed on their website but it doesn't list much info about her. Good Luck!
Lisa
Dear Shellylynn,
You couldn't be in a better place. It's worth the drive. Enjoy the beautiful fall scenery.
May the Blessings Be!

Yes, it was you I was thinking about..... I knew you were a fellow Michigander who had been to U of M.
My Cardio-thorasic surgeon is at the Aorta clinic at the U of M, all of the dr's there that I've met or worked with have been amazing, it's a wonderful place,
