Hi, everyone - I am waiting to see what my specialist says next week when I see him regarding my recent statin intolerance - can't take statins or zetia. I am thinking he may have me try Red Yeast Rice first and see if that might work for me.
I know that an option for me if my LDL is over 300 if I am unable to tolerate red yeast rice will be LDL apheresis at some point - is there anyone out there who has had or is having that treatment?
