HELPING CHILDREN WHEN A PARENT HAS CANCER
Webcast Wed, 10/21, 8:00 pm EST
Listen live or later: http://bit.ly/4vYgWf

Children of all ages face unique challenges when a parent has cancer. Our guests know firsthand what parenting with cancer is like and they offer tips and resources to help moms and dads help their children:

Peter Van Dernoot is the Executive Director of the Children’s Treehouse Foundation and Author of “Helping Children Cope With Your Cancer.” Peter’s children were 11 and 15 when his wife was diagnosed with a terminal cancer. Finding few resources to help, he turned his own experience into helping others.

Jamie Reno, award winning journalist, singer-songwriter and lymphoma survivor, is the author of “A Snowman on The Pitcher’s Mound,” a moving story from the viewpoint of a 10-year-old boy whose mom has lymphoma.
