I'm 24 years old and have had my share of trials and tribulations like many others. Some issues I have over-come, some I am still trying to deal with, and some obstacles just seem to continue to pour in.
I'm currently pregnant with twins, and my significant other is in GA going through medical school. I live with his mother, whom I very much consider to be like a mother to me [I call her Ma. I know, sounds like the Golden Girls : ) ]. Ma helped (along with my counselor) face my eating disorder and self-injury head on and recover. Though like alcoholism, the ED and SI are issues that will always be with me.
Ma and I both deal with annoying allergies, heart troubles, and the joys of ADHD. Ma was recently diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and we are looking at this in all angles to see how to make it over this next mountain.
