Smokers....

0 Recommendations

Hey all,

I wanted to say hi and see what’s going on with everyone. Let me just say that I was a smoker for seven years and not a day goes by now that I don’t wish I never picked up a cigarette. I’m not here to chastise anybody, but I do have some solutions if anybody is really thinking about quitting smoking to prevent cancer. When I made the leap a few months ago, I did use the Nicorette gum which got a little pricey. I still use it, but my cravings aren’t so bad that I feel like morphing into the Hulk. I know it’s tough and you probably get antsy just thinking about it, but let me tell you; you suffer the consequences. Even though I stopped, I wake up every morning coughing and can barely speak a lot of times. Again, I’m not preaching but if anyone wants help I’m leaving a few links for items that will help. Get them on here instead of spending $100 at the store every week like I did. I’ve been getting my Nicorette from here for about 2 months. Feel free to ask me any questions as a former smoker.

Good Luck!

Stopping now even prevents heart disease! Don't forget, cancer isn't the only killer around, although it's #1. Heart Disease is #2.

BTW, I smoked for over 40 years and quit when I had my heart attack. I just did it cold turkey. You can get addicted to the gum too and it can cause oral cancer. Nicotine is present in the gum. The clue to quitting is to stop getting nicotine into your system. That's done by just quitting.

It takes 5 seconds for the cravings to leave the body. Take a deep breath of fresh air and they're gone!

It takes longer for the nicotine and other 1,000's of chemicals to leave. Why not tell the truth? They're not addicted to tobacco, it's the chemicals, like arsenic, benzene, nicotine, ether, fertilizer, etc etc that they put in cigarettes today that make people addicted.

If you're still waking up coughing you'd best see a doctor. You can still get cancer long after you stop.
