My goddaughter is in stage 2 liver failure and the doctors (who admit that they have never treated this disease before) have doubled her chemo treatments and refuse to refer her to a specialist we found in Ann Arbor, Michigan and we are having trouble getting in there by ourselves. Has anyone ever been treated by chemo and if so has there been any positive results.
The treatment for Wilson's Disease is NOT Chemo! I would be running away from these idiotic doctors. If I were you, I'd contact the Wilson's Disease Association to see if they can help you get in touch with the specialists in Michigan. This sounds rather emergent.
