Stories of people who have removed feeding tubes

0 Recommendations

Could a few people who have had their feeding tubes removed and are now eating and drinking again please post their stories here. We need hope.

Molly has had a PEG feeding tube in her stomach since April 14, 2009. We give her all her food and meds through her peg tube. Her swallowing is still not good. She was choking on everything and finally the decision to have the tube placed was made. She has now gained waight but she has not eaten any solid food in one month.

What kind of feeding tube is it? is it the one in the stomach or the nose?

It is in her stomach. My husband and I, as well as our 17 year old daughter and my father-in-law, all feed Molly and give her meds through the button peg tube in her stomach. Her swallowing is still not good. She had been choking on everything we offered and finally the decision to have the tube placed was made. She has not eaten solid food in one month.

Hi,

Our son Guillaume has had a PEG tube since 3 years now...:-(
