Hi and Welcome jhgood!

I just wanted to say you have came to the right place! There are so many knowledgable people on this board, very helpful. If you have any questions, concerns, ask a way!

Have you started any medications yet? My son is currently on Galzin. Zinc Sulfate for 6 1/2 years before that. My oldests daughter had WD before she had her liver transplant. We didn't even know she had that, or ever heard of that disease, until she became instantly terminally ill. Thank God we caught it within days and also thank God every day a liver was given to us by a donor.

The hope is you can live many, many, MANY years with the proper medicine and diet. Don't give up!!!

Good luck and my prayers are with you.

And no, you aren't going crazy :)

You will be fine if you take your meds and follow a low copper diet. The feeling of craziness will go away. I was right where you are now and 35 years later, I am fine.

Good luck .
