Miraculously Pregnant!! And happier than ever

0 Recommendations

I am 7 weeks pregnant and it is a miracle. It's a good story - it's on my profile. Anyway I am on Zinc maintenance and have weaned off of the 20 medications I was on for neurological complications. I never thought I could be a mother and it is a dream come true. I have an OBGYN, a High-Risk OBGYN and a Perinatologist. Please pray for a healthy baby. If there is anyone who has been pregnant and had babies, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi! Just curious if you recieved my reply?
Congratulations again!

Congratulations on your long journey to recovery and pregnancy. I read your profile and will remember it as I help my 21 y.o. son through his WD journey. I am heartened by the fact that you recovered from acute liver failure. He is currently going through this now and we are fighting to retain his liver. I will pray for a healthy baby for you. Children are such a joy!

hiya junebug23,

Congrats!! even though I was never that serve to have an acute liver. I did my fair share of all the other wonderful symptoms of Wilson Disease. I am now into 12 weeks pregnancy. I am excited like you as well but life just like playing games with me. As I am less fortunated to have a husband to stand by me with the baby. My dad has make it clear to me that he will not have anything to do with me if I insisted on being an unwed mom. I was never sick enough to get on SSI. I have a hard time finding jobs. I was working however very recently I lost my job. So now, I am jobless, can't work because all the wonderful pregnancy symptons are showing. I won't be able to work at least until the baby is born.

So, right now I have an appointment setup to have an MFM Consultation with a obgyn specialist. Have another appointment with my obgyn tomorrow. I am very stress out not taking care of myself as I should be.

Hopefully, I won't have to be an murder to my baby. I don't know how will I ever going to live with myself if I ever make the desicion to have my baby aborted. As I try to find some local government resources that's avaible to me. Seems just so little that's avaible out there for me.

Anyway once again congrats! Hope we can keep each other for backup support and shares tips throughout our pregnancy.

hugs~
