Dear All,
While studying on a scholarship in the USA, the doctor suspected Wilson's disease and later, a liver biopsy result confirmed the diagnoses after I left to settle in my home country, Ghana in Africa. Unfortunately, I am unable to afford the cost of medication locally. I do need your help in identifying where I could seek help with the treatment.

Dear WDA:
Thank you for being there for those in need. The thought of someone not able to get help because of the meds being unavailable or out of their reach financially, really is heart breaking.
I realize how lucky we are to have treatment available and also to afford the treatment. I personally made a pledge to myself to make a donation whenever I am able to.
For those of us who can afford to make a donation to the WDA so they could continue to help others, it would be a wonderful way to show our gratitude for the medication that we are blessed to have.
