5 year ago my girlfrend had non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She was strong and she recovered after one year of chemotherapy. We tought that the worst is just behind us. But last year doctors found tumor in my head and i was removed same day. Because we don't have VHL in family nobody expect that I have it. Unfortuneatly I have VHL. They found tumor in kidneys, spinal cord and very tiny in brainstem (visible only on 3T MRI). But I am really happy that I know that I have VHL. I try to get all possible information. I have quite nice live, nice job. I have been married last year (just between two surgeries :-). I started to build our new hause...
We planned to have child. Because we had frozen eggs from time when my wife had chemotherapy we wanted to do pre-implant genetic test. We started to speak with specialist. Is possible but very complicated in our country (only one place is able to do it). But Nature had different plan. My wife is now pregnant normally. I hope that child will be heathy without VHL. With all this troubles I am happy.
