My husband and I just learned this past Friday that Chloe, our 6 year old daughter has the deletion of the VHL gene, as I do. As alarming as it may seem, we're all doing ok. She is an amazing kid and it inspires me to be positive and to gain knowledge. She is extremely bright and I truly believe that having VHL will propel her into greatness far beyond what she may already accomplish in her life. She is so eager to learn. She and I have already begun to bond in a special way, knowing that we share this.
